Engineering Team Leader (AC Dynamometer Systems)

Location: Wuxi, Jiangsu, China; onsite five days a week

What you will do

• Lead maintenance and repair activities for facility infrastructure, utilities, machinery, and production-support systems.
• Coordinate installation, rearrangement, modification, commissioning, and supplier evaluation for electrical, mechanical, material-handling, and facility equipment.
• Lead the introduction, operation, and maintenance of AC dynamometer systems, including system specification, design reviews, test-cell construction, and commissioning.
• Develop preventive maintenance strategies and standards, monitor equipment reliability, and reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
• Direct emergency troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, system recovery, and corrective and preventive actions for complex equipment failures.
• Mentor facilities technicians and engineers, coordinate priorities across three shifts, and support technology transfer and capability development.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Power Electronics, or Control Engineering.
• At least 8 years of experience in industrial equipment engineering and at least 5 years of hands-on experience with AC dynamometer systems.
• Experience leading equipment installation and commissioning projects.
• Leadership, project management, communication, interpersonal, safety, and quality skills.
• Good written English and reading ability.
• Must work onsite in Wuxi, Jiangsu, China five days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in engine testing, powertrain testing, or laboratory facilities.
