Certified Medication Aide - Assisted Living (AL)

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA; onsite

What you will do

• Administer and supervise prescribed medications and treatments according to MAR and TAR records, regulations, and clinical direction.
• Count, receive, verify, store, order, and remove medications while reporting discrepancies, shortages, and expired items.
• Provide personal care, activities of daily living, vital-sign checks, and general nursing support to residents.
• Document resident care, maintain medical charts, and complete admission and readmission records within required timeframes.
• Respond to resident calls and concerns, communicate with supervisors, and maintain clean, stocked medication carts.
• Attend staff training and required in-service programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least one month of related experience; senior-living experience is preferred.
• Current Medication Technician certification as required by state regulations.
• Acceptable English proficiency required for duties, workplace communication, and emergency situations.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, time-management, and teamwork skills with a passion for helping seniors.
