Preconstruction & Constructability Manager (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and govern the project Constructability Program across conceptual design, FEL, FEED, detailed design, procurement, and execution.
• Lead multidisciplinary constructability reviews and workshops with engineering, operations, maintenance, CQV, procurement, and construction stakeholders.
• Develop construction execution plans, site strategies, sequencing, work packaging, logistics plans, and Advanced Work Packaging approaches.
• Review EPCM design deliverables and contractor plans for installation efficiency, accessibility, operability, maintainability, and commissioning readiness.
• Evaluate modularization, prefabrication, contractor bid packages, staffing plans, schedules, and construction methodologies.
• Identify execution risks, coordinate engineering-construction interfaces, and present recommendations and mitigation plans to project leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related technical discipline.
• 20+ years of industrial construction experience, including leadership on large capital projects.
• At least 10 years managing preconstruction and constructability programs.
• Experience supporting projects exceeding $500 million total installed cost.
• Experience with EPC, EPCM, and owner-side project delivery models.
• Advanced knowledge of constructability, modularization, prefabrication, construction planning, AWP, GMP facility construction, CQV, project controls, and risk management.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, semiconductor, or other highly regulated facilities.
