Transportation and Logistics Lead (Aerospace)

Location: Centennial, Colorado, United States; onsite at the Centennial facility. U.S. Citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required.

Salary: $99,000–$150,565 base salary per year.

What you will do

• Develop and implement a multi-site transportation and logistics strategy aligned with production and customer delivery goals.
• Standardize inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, scheduling, load planning, routing, and material-handling processes across facilities.
• Select, negotiate with, and manage freight carriers and logistics partners while controlling freight spend and service performance.
• Implement logistics KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, shorten lead times, and improve delivery reliability.
• Ensure compliant shipping of aerospace components, including transportation documentation, safety, security, DOT, ITAR, EAR, and hazardous-material requirements.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Program teams, suppliers, and site teams; evaluate TMS, ERP, and MES solutions for shipment tracking and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management with increasing responsibility.
• Experience managing multi-site logistics operations and carrier or vendor relationships.
• Strong knowledge of domestic transportation modes and experience with DOT, ITAR, EAR, and hazardous-material shipping compliance.
• Proficiency with ERP/MES systems and Transportation Management Systems.
• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business administration, supply chain, or operations management.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing, including AS9100 or ISO 9001 frameworks.
• Experience implementing a TMS or logistics digitalization initiative.
• Familiarity with additive manufacturing supply chains, cost-reduction programs, freight consolidation, or supplier-direct programs.
