Packaging Designer

Location: Remote within Latin America, including Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Venezuela. Work schedule follows EST with flexible hours and overlap required for stakeholder presentations.

What you will do

• Lead packaging systems from concept through production across consumer electronics, wellness, lifestyle, and related product categories.
• Create dielines, artwork, print-ready files, and structural and graphic packaging solutions.
• Review proofs and press checks for structural, material, and print accuracy.
• Extend brand identities across packaging, retail displays, point-of-sale materials, campaigns, and other consumer touchpoints.
• Coordinate with marketing, product development, production teams, and external vendors while managing launch timelines and feedback cycles.
• Mentor junior designers, review creative output, and document reusable design standards and file conventions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in packaging design, brand design, or creative direction, with ownership from concept through production.
• Portfolio featuring 2–3 packaging systems shipped to retail, including structural and graphic work.
• Advanced Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign skills for dielines, artwork, and print layouts.
• Working knowledge of packaging structures, substrates, print processes, and production specifications.
• Experience with consumer electronics, wellness, lifestyle, or consumer packaged goods brands, including brand identity extensions across packaging, retail, and marketing.
• C1+ English proficiency required for presenting concepts to client-side stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Adobe Dimension or Cinema 4D for 3D packaging mockups and visualization.
• Figma experience for brand systems and cross-functional collaboration.
• Retail merchandising and point-of-sale display design experience.
• Direct relationships with packaging manufacturers and production vendors.
• Packaging experience for global brands or international market launches.
