What you will do

• Lead design for Energy category priority projects, including high-profile collaborations and brand-first stories.
• Guide the transition from Energy concepts to inline products, from pinnacle incubation through commercial scale.
• Design performance and lifestyle footwear that combines fashion, function, and HOKA’s design DNA.
• Explore new materials, constructions, aesthetics, and product solutions based on partner input, brand priorities, and consumer insights.
• Create design stories, illustrations, 2D drawings, renderings, and technical packs.
• Set style and color direction, lead franchise vision, and mentor designers across cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• 8+ years of footwear design experience.
• Advanced understanding of footwear materials, construction, tooling, uppers, and production processes.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Miro or Lucid.
• Expertise with generative AI platforms such as Midjourney or Vizcom.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience building and mentoring creative environments and a portfolio demonstrating creative excellence and technical innovation.
