Director, Global Partnership and Trial Optimization

What you will do

• Develop a long-term, company-wide strategy for external partnerships supporting clinical trials and translational and basic research.
• Identify and evaluate potential partners against organisational needs, opportunities, and capability gaps.
• Coordinate partnership opportunities with internal experts and existing or prospective external organisations.
• Support contract drafting and execution throughout the partnership lifecycle.
• Track partnership opportunities with project management and external-facing colleagues.
• Build communication channels that maintain continuity, alignment, and productive relationships across internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Previous experience and deep understanding of the drug development process.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining partner relationships at all organisational levels.
• Established relationships and a positive reputation in the life sciences industry, particularly with academic medical centres and large health systems.
• Strong business and financial management skills, including strategic planning and tactical execution.
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple urgent tasks and projects within a matrix organisation.
• Outstanding written, verbal, presentation, and consensus-building communication skills.
