Technician, Pilot Plant IV (Second Shift)

What you will do

• Set up, clean, maintain, and operate pilot plant equipment under supervision.
• Prepare processes according to supervisory instructions and follow operating procedures.
• Observe product and process quality characteristics and report issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete batch records, supporting data, and other documentation according to cGMP requirements.
• Review procedures and batch records, identify safety issues, and suggest process improvements.
• Provide accurate material and equipment status reports during manufacturing handoffs and use the inventory system.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Basic technical or mechanical background and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written operating instructions and equipment or computer displays.
• Ability to document process deviations or mistakes clearly.
• Intermediate ability in basic algebra, decimals, fractions, proportions, and arithmetic.
• Knowledge of tools, machines, instruments, and safety devices used in chemical or pharmaceutical operations is preferred.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a scientific field.
• Experience with tools, equipment, and safety devices used in pharmaceutical or chemical operations.
