Senior Counsel, AI Legal Operations & Commercial (AI)

Salary: $160,500–$305,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide senior legal support for enterprise AI use cases across commercial, R&D, and productivity functions.
• Assess data privacy, data governance, intellectual property, licensing, regulatory, and compliance risks at scale.
• Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS, AI vendor, data licensing, and AI-enabled service agreements.
• Develop standard AI contracting templates, fallback positions, and procurement playbooks.
• Scale AI intake and legal review workflows with Legal Operations and Governance teams.
• Advise and train business stakeholders and coordinate resolution of complex AI legal matters.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership.
• At least 5 years of legal experience; 8+ years preferred.
• Significant experience in commercial contracting and technology transactions.
• Strong expertise in data privacy, intellectual property, and SaaS agreements.
• Ability to manage complex, high-volume legal workflows and collaborate across functions.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML technologies or digital platforms.
• In-house experience in a large, matrixed organization.
• Familiarity with enterprise governance and workflow tools.
