Compliance Director, Marketing Review (AI)

Location: New York, United States; onsite four days per week

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide compliance oversight and governance for marketing materials involving alternative investments, private funds, and registered fund products.
• Develop and enhance marketing compliance processes, controls, and review workflows.
• Partner with global compliance teams to assess jurisdictional requirements and maintain consistent messaging and documentation standards.
• Apply U.S., Canadian, and EMEA regulations to marketing communications and provide clear, actionable guidance to business stakeholders.
• Support vendor relationships and compliance technology, including AI-enabled solutions and workflow platforms.
• Manage high-volume reviews and additional compliance projects in a high-visibility, interdepartmental role.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in marketing compliance or compliance generalist work within an investment adviser, asset manager, or similar financial services organization.
• Strong understanding of global regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, time-management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with AI-enabled tools, Red Oak, workflow platforms, emerging compliance technology, and Microsoft Office.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States and be willing to work onsite four days per week.
