IT Manager, Architecture - SAP (Hybrid)

Location: East Berlin, Connecticut, United States. Hybrid schedule with at least three days per week in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays; availability for up to five office days may be required. Travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire may be necessary, including emergency restoration assignments.

What you will do

• Lead the architecture direction and roadmap for the Finance and Accounting Reinvention program.
• Design end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture across FI/CO, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, controlling, reporting, and integrations.
• Translate business requirements into scalable solution designs in partnership with Finance, Accounting, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data, Infrastructure, and implementation partners.
• Guide fit-gap analysis, process harmonization, integration patterns, data migration, reporting architecture, and control requirements.
• Provide technical and functional leadership through blueprinting, build, testing, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Manage architecture governance, design reviews, risks, dependencies, decision logs, and cross-functional escalations while mentoring architects and technical teams.

Requirements

• 10–12 years of progressive IT experience, including significant SAP finance architecture, solution design, and enterprise transformation experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP FI/CO, financial accounting, controlling, reporting, integrations, and data migration.
• Experience delivering large-scale finance or ERP transformation programs from strategy and design through implementation and stabilization.
• Experience working with Finance and Accounting leaders, system integrators, vendors, business process owners, architecture review boards, cybersecurity teams, and infrastructure teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
