TL;DR
Senior Business Excellence Technician (Lean Manufacturing/MedTech): Supporting operational excellence initiatives in a medical-device manufacturing plant through line balancing, process standardization, lean audits, data analysis, and management presentations with an accent on Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational data visualization. Focus on leading plant-level initiatives, analyzing manufacturing trends, improving processes, and developing training and executive presentation materials.
Location: Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico

What you will do
- Support operations analysis, line balancing, process standardization, lean manufacturing, and plant-level operational excellence initiatives.
- Train associate groups and provide guidance on lean manufacturing tools.
- Monitor standard operating procedure compliance through Lean and 5S audits, report irregularities, and escalate business issues or opportunities.
- Analyze operational data and trends and create graphs, charts, schemes, drawings, and high-visual-content presentations.
- Develop training materials, generate purchase orders, and provide layout control support.
- Follow all company, environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- High school education or a technical career; an Industrial Engineering degree is preferred.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience, or current Engineering studies with at least half of the credits completed.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma tools, manufacturing operations, process optimization, and data analysis.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and software such as AutoCAD, iGrafx, and Minitab to create presentations and represent operational or financial data graphically.
- Creativity, proactivity, strong execution focus, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of English and the medical-products industry is preferred.
Nice to have
- Industrial Engineering education or completed professional Engineering studies.
- Experience with medical products, Good Manufacturing Practices, quality systems documentation, or agile manufacturing.
