TL;DR
Jr. Engineer (technical design and product engineering): Creating, documenting, and validating technical designs, drawings, electrical diagrams, calculations, and product models for elevator and building-access solutions with an accent on compliance, prototyping, and design quality. Focus on developing concepts and prototypes, maintaining product data in PDM/PLM systems, identifying technical risks, and collaborating with software and cross-functional teams.

Location: Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico; onsite

What you will do

  • Identify technical issues and develop competitive engineering solutions.
  • Create technical design proposals, drawings, electrical diagrams, calculations, and product models.
  • Develop concepts, mock-ups, and prototypes to support implementation into operations.
  • Verify and validate designs, maintain existing designs, and execute corrective or preventive actions.
  • Participate in agile solution creation, sprint planning, and quarterly planning with software and cross-functional teams.
  • Identify technical and schedule risks and maintain product data according to PDM/PLM guidelines.

Requirements

  • Junior-level engineering experience or background.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative solutions.
  • Experience creating, documenting, and validating technical designs.
  • Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with agile ways of working and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
