Senior Director, Corporate Development (Healthcare)

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States; hybrid schedule with three days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are required in the office for team meetings and events.

Salary: $196,733–$258,212 per year, plus equity grants and annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end corporate development transactions across M&A, investments, divestitures, and strategic partnerships.
• Manage target sourcing, market mapping, valuation, financial modeling, diligence, negotiations, approval materials, closing, and integration planning.
• Partner with operators to define integration plans, synergy and value-capture targets, post-close KPIs, and governance.
• Develop thesis-driven sourcing strategies, target universes, build/buy/partner recommendations, and prioritized opportunity pipelines.
• Lead long-term enterprise-wide financial and capital modeling for growth initiatives and capital allocation decisions.
• Evaluate strategic initiatives, including new market entries and business lines, in partnership with Corporate Strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in analytical financial roles with significant leadership responsibilities.
• 10+ years of expert financial modeling experience, particularly in corporate development.
• 8+ years of corporate development experience involving M&A modeling, valuation, and negotiation.
• 7+ years of experience influencing and presenting to executives, C-suite leaders, and Board members.
• Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience in strategy consulting, financial services, insurance, private equity, venture capital, or investment banking.
• Healthcare industry experience and deep market knowledge.
• Advanced degree or professional designation such as an MBA or CFA.
