Supply Chain Manager (Advanced Nuclear Energy)

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global facility in Torrance, California, in the Los Angeles area; travel to suppliers up to 40% may be required.

Salary: $145,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity.

hirify.global is a Series C startup developing inherently safe, deployable microreactors for terrestrial, underwater, and space applications.

What you will do

• Define strategic supply-chain roadmaps for commodities including machined components, electromechanical systems, shielding, thermal management, turbomachinery, and fuel.
• Identify, develop, and onboard suppliers for prototyping and full-rate production.
• Collaborate with engineering and suppliers on design for manufacturability.
• Coordinate supplier quality, documentation, nonconformances, and compliance with the quality program.
• Build logistics capabilities and foundational systems for planning, procurement, materials management, shipping, receiving, and accounts payable.
• Develop performance metrics and execute near-term supply-chain actions supporting engineering and testing milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical, business, finance, or supply-chain field and 3+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience without the degree requirement.
• Experience in supply-chain management, business operations, supplier development, supplier quality, or manufacturing.
• Experience with supply-chain systems including MRP and ERP.
• Ability to work long hours and weekends when necessary to support critical milestones.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations under export regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with complex systems and assemblies.
• Background in aerospace and defense, automotive, semiconductor, or energy industries.
• Experience managing diverse commodities and suppliers across planning, procurement, materials management, program management, and logistics.
• Startup experience.
