Data Migration Engineer

Location: Westlake, Texas or Merrimack, New Hampshire; day-one onsite hybrid work required

Salary: $80,420–$106,050 per year, plus potential variable compensation, bonus, or commission.

What you will do

• Design and implement data migration pipelines and workflows.
• Define data mappings, transformation logic, and validation rules.
• Lead migration execution, troubleshooting, cutover planning, and execution.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, reconciliation, and system readiness.
• Conduct data quality assessments and remediation.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and business teams while improving migration tools and frameworks.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in data engineering or data migration.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools, SQL, and Python.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, including Azure and AWS.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and transformation patterns.
• Experience with testing, validation, reconciliation, and data quality processes.
• Ability to lead small teams or initiatives and work onsite from day one in Westlake, TX, or Merrimack, NH, in a hybrid setup.
