Channels Product Analyst (Payments)

hirify.global operates this role within Global Banking & Markets' Transaction Banking division, supporting corporate treasury and payment solutions.

What you will do

• Support the roadmap for API and file-based payment channels, including Corporate APIs, Open Banking APIs, SFTP, FileAct, and SWIFT messaging rails.
• Help convert client payment formats into standardized internal formats and troubleshoot mapping and transformation logic with engineering.
• Analyze payment transmission data to identify failure patterns, formatting errors, latency issues, and automation opportunities.
• Partner with customers, implementation teams, and servicing teams to deliver new channel features.
• Maintain format guides, runbooks, and documentation, while tracking operational metrics and prioritizing backlog items.
• Participate in UAT for payment formats, connectivity types, and channel enhancements.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, operations, payments, banking, or financial services.
• Experience with API design, RESTful API product management, developer portals, and API-first product strategy.
• Knowledge of electronic payments, including ACH, wires, SWIFT, real-time payments, cross-border payments, and related payment schemes.
• Familiarity with SFTP, FileAct, SWIFT MT, and ISO 20022 is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills using Excel, SQL, or similar tools, plus excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage feature delivery from client request and engineering requirements through testing and go-live, and influence stakeholders at the executive level.

Nice to have

• Interest in stablecoin payments, card networks, open banking, network-level value-added services, and emerging payment schemes.
• Experience with UX principles, developer experience, documentation, sandbox environments, and client onboarding.
• Interest in Generative AI applications such as intelligent payment routing, anomaly detection, client-facing assistants, and workflow automation.
• Awareness of AML/KYC, GDPR, CCPA, PSD2, and other payment-channel regulatory requirements.
