Product Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Newark, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Support the product roadmap and backlog with client enhancements, regulatory initiatives, industry requirements, and product investments.
• Translate client, regulatory, and business needs into clear requirements and meaningful deliverables.
• Prepare scopes of work, estimates, and BRD/FRD documentation.
• Break development projects into manageable deliverables and communicate stakeholder needs to development teams.
• Assess delivery risks, validate completed functionality, and report delivery status to stakeholders and end users.
• Partner with development teams to clarify product features, understand delivery capabilities, and answer questions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent qualification.
• 0–3 years of experience in brokerage business operations or brokerage systems development.
• Excellent communication, analytical, facilitation, negotiation, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle, technical architecture, database and system design, messaging, and database schemas.
• Basic SQL knowledge for testing and reconciliation.
• Experience with ShadowSuite, technology development, vendor-side work, geographically dispersed groups, or financial-product coursework is a plus.
