Aircraft Maintenance Engineer EASA B1 (Aviation)

Location: Toulouse Area, France; extensive travel for long periods and on short notice is required

What you will do

• Oversee aircraft repair projects from planning through repair embodiment and release to service.
• Act in a certifying capacity by establishing Working Party files and issuing Certificates of Release to Service.
• Coordinate hirify.global and manufacturing teams, allocating work across groups of up to 30–60 people.
• Carry out inspections and ensure aircraft airworthiness and compliance with hirify.global 145 procedures.
• Manage customers onsite and deliver repair projects on time, within cost, and to quality standards.
• Support advisory activities, Service Bulletin development, troubleshooting, repair embodiment, and cross-program projects.

Requirements

• EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License, Category B1, is mandatory.
• At least two current hirify.global Type Ratings in the B1 category.
• Five years of certifying experience in a supervisory role.
• Advanced English is required. French, German, or Spanish is an advantage.
• Substantial experience in heavy maintenance, aircraft manufacture, or cargo conversion, particularly in structural repair activities.
• Safety-focused approach, strong customer relationship skills, and the ability to negotiate working-party requirements.

Nice to have

• EASA Part 66 B2 or C license category.
• French, German, or Spanish language skills.
