Airbus Military Derivatives Technical Manager (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Coordinate engineering Communities of Competence and interfaces with Programs, Operations, Services, and the Chief Engineer.
• Prepare and update aircraft technical specifications, program development plans, work orders, and technical review plans.
• Coordinate design reviews and documentation for development, certification, and qualification.
• Verify system and subsystem specifications against program requirements and resolve technical compliance issues.
• Coordinate ground and flight tests and engineering activities for modifications to green aircraft.
• Monitor technical progress and support stakeholders with timely, on-quality, and on-cost deliverables.

Requirements

• Engineering background with at least 5 years of experience in systems and aircraft development, testing, certification, and qualification.
• Experience with issue resolution and interface management across functional groups.
• Ability to coordinate internal personnel and external subcontracting companies.
• Good French and English communication skills are required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, proactivity, teamwork, and negotiation skills.
• National security clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with the A330 MRTT or Airbus Single Aisle programs.
• Spanish language skills.
