Clinical Quality Analyst (Behavioral Health)

Location: Remote, United States. Team members living within 45 minutes of a hirify.global office are expected to follow a hybrid schedule. Applicants in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington are not currently considered.

Salary: $57,000–$75,000 per year.

What you will do

• Audit medical and clinical records daily for quality, accuracy, consistency, and documentation compliance.
• Prepare monitoring and compliance reports that summarize findings, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Provide education and feedback to clinical teams and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Develop cross-company documentation and interdepartmental procedures with clinical and administrative stakeholders.
• Review, track, and investigate incidents, including serious incident analysis, and support corrective action plans.
• Support state, Medicaid, payer, and accreditation survey preparation, as well as new state or program launches.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare auditing.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in behavioral health or a similar field preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal patient confidentiality laws, HIPAA, ASAM criteria, behavioral health guidelines, treatment plans, and levels of care.
• Knowledge of The Joint Commission Behavioral Health Standards and applicable accreditation and compliance requirements.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, work independently, and collaborate with clinical and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
