2027 Summer Intern - Structural Drafter / Technician (AutoCAD)

What you will do

• Prepare detailed structural drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit under experienced team guidance.
• Create base files, update redlines, and support coordinated plan sets for various facility types.
• Participate in coordination between structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
• Gain exposure to structural system layout, modeling workflows, and project delivery processes.
• Contribute to project discussions and collaborate with designers, engineers, and architects.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a two-year Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology, or related associate degree program.
• Introductory experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit through coursework or hands-on training.
• Basic understanding of building systems, construction methods, or construction drawings.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Bluebeam Revu or similar markup tools.
• Coursework or project experience in structural drafting or building design.
• Interest in structural systems for education, government, or industrial facilities.
