Senior Accountant (Audit Non-Profit)

Salary: $77,490–$110,200 per year, with percentile points at $77,490, $94,900, and $110,200.

What you will do

• Lead audit fieldwork and keep engagement leaders informed about progress and risks.
• Perform audit testing to support opinions on the fair presentation of client financial statements.
• Supervise, review, coach, and develop interns and staff during engagements.
• Build productive client relationships and provide accounting advice on internal transactions.
• Deliver strategic and tactical accounting recommendations to non-profit clients.
• Provide client support in virtual and hybrid work settings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of progressive public accounting experience, including in-charge responsibilities.
• 2+ years of non-profit assurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and GAAS.
• Leadership, recruiting, training, mentoring, communication, and presentation skills.
• CPA certification or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is highly desirable; proficiency with Microsoft Office and audit preparation software is required.
