TL;DR
Associate (Deposits Process & Controls) (Banking Operations and Risk Controls): Strengthening the Private Bank’s deposits operating model through process improvement, governance, risk management, and controls oversight with an accent on audit remediation, regulatory initiatives, and scalable procedures. Focus on identifying control gaps, documenting end-to-end deposit workflows, coordinating governance forums, and driving execution across Risk, Compliance, Operations, Technology, and Internal Audit.

What you will do

  • Identify process, operational risk, and control gaps across the Deposits business.
  • Support RCSA activities, issue management, audit remediation, and regulatory initiatives.
  • Document and improve end-to-end deposit processes, procedures, workflows, and governance frameworks.
  • Assess process and control impacts for new products, pricing initiatives, and business changes.
  • Run Deposits governance and risk forums and prepare management reporting, metrics, audit responses, and regulatory materials.
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, Operations, Technology, Internal Audit, advisors, and other stakeholders to drive process improvements and communicate remediation efforts.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Private Banking Operations, Treasury, Operational Risk, Controls, Internal Audit, RCSA, Project Management, or a related first- or second-line function.
  • Strong understanding of risk, controls, governance, and process management frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and drive execution across stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work from the Dallas, Texas office.

Nice to have

  • Experience with banking products, deposits, treasury services, or liquidity management.
