Research Associate (Laboratory Operations)

What you will do

• Coordinate shipping and receiving of chemicals, biologics, standards, laboratory consumables, samples, and other materials.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and documentation, then label, log, and track materials accurately.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor supplies, perform inventory audits, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Support laboratory upkeep through glassware washing, workspace organization, and daily logistics processes.
• Ensure materials and supplies are available on time to maintain efficient laboratory operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree completed.
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative or laboratory support experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and a structured working style.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of laboratory or logistics processes.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting regulated laboratory environments.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or procurement tools.
• Exposure to chemical or biologics handling and compliance requirements.
