Enrollment/Billing Senior Representative (Healthcare)

Location: United States Work at Home; remote work requires cable broadband or fiber optic internet with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.

Hourly rate: $20–$30 per hour, depending on experience and geographic location. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of complex client accounts and perform billing, collections, reconciliation, and delinquency-management activities.
• Research and resolve billing, payment, member eligibility, census, rate variance, and customer account issues.
• Process group renewals, new business, terms, revisions, special charge bills, electronic invoices, and financial payments.
• Analyze client data and prepare monthly and ad hoc reports using multiple systems and reporting resources.
• Coordinate with TPAs, brokers, clients, banks, vendors, and internal partners through meetings, escalations, and dispute resolution.
• Support cash-team activities, peer audits, quality goals, process improvements, filing, and other administrative or special-project work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in billing, accounting, or collections.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft application skills, with proficiency in 10-key data entry.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, quality-focused, and able to solve problems, prioritize work, and manage multiple systems.
• Strong verbal, written, organizational, interpersonal, leadership, and motivational skills.
• Ability to work independently, respond with urgency, and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Genasys, SAP, or PCRS systems, or the ability to learn new applications quickly.
• Understanding of accounting concepts and the relationships between Cigna Healthcare matrix partners.
