Sr. Validation Engineer (Snowmobiles)

Location: Roseau, Minnesota, USA; onsite role with up to 10% travel.

Salary: $99,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute DVP&R plans for assigned snowmobile programs.
• Define test procedures, pass/fail criteria, equipment needs, reliability targets, and durability targets.
• Coordinate and execute component- and vehicle-level validation with product, systems, and test teams.
• Lead validation activities for performance, driveability, and certification requirements.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret test data while maintaining technical accuracy and data integrity.
• Report validation results, support field testing and root cause analysis, and improve testing methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• At least 6 years of experience in validation, testing, or product development engineering.
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with test planning, coordination, execution, reliability metrics, and field or laboratory testing.
• Ability to use or learn data acquisition and processing tools such as AIM or Edaq.
• Strong technical analysis, problem-solving, data interpretation, written communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience developing new testing methods and procedures.
• Experience supporting snowmobile or other vehicle validation programs.
