Materials Intern (Supply Chain)

Location: Bedford, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite role combining office-based duties with field and production-floor activity.

Salary: $18.00–$37.00 per hour

What you will do

• Analyze inbound material, service part, and finished vehicle delivery requirements.
• Identify conveyance inefficiencies, freight consolidation opportunities, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Develop and document processes for North American material flow.
• Support implementation of solutions that improve transportation efficiency and material flow.
• Improve operational efficiency through ergonomics.
• Develop and manage non-compliance reporting and support additional projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform office, field, and production-floor duties, including walking, standing, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
