Estimator I (Architectural Glass)

What you will do

• Manage an assigned sales territory, customer accounts, and major architectural glass projects.
• Process and update high-volume quotations using Word, Viper, pricing tools, and company databases.
• Work directly with customers throughout the bidding process and resolve product, pricing, and service issues.
• Interpret customer requirements and architectural specifications in line with manufacturing capabilities and limitations.
• Track quoted work through forecasting, maintain project documentation, and support project kick-off meetings and customer visits.
• Collaborate with field sales representatives, sales management, and internal departments on project bids, negotiations, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Three to eight years of estimating experience preferred; a four-year degree is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of estimating processes, pricing policies, company systems, and architectural glass products.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, interpersonal communication, listening, and phone skills.
• Professional English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, plus the ability to understand fractions, decimals, and geometric patterns.
• Regular full-time attendance and occasional travel when required.
