Compliance Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Based in Salt Lake City or New York City; in-office 3–4 days per week

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 annually, plus equity

hirify.global is building a digital fleet and fuel card on a spend management platform for commercial fleets and drivers in the U.S. B2B payments market.

What you will do

• Monitor account and transaction activity, investigate alerts, identify unusual patterns, and support Unusual Activity Report filings.
• Apply OFAC screening and BSA/AML controls while tracking regulatory developments, KRIs, and KPIs.
• Use SQL and internal or external data sources to identify system vulnerabilities, compliance gaps, and monitoring improvements.
• Test underwriting, credit decisioning, adverse action notices, and account practices for ECOA, SCRA, and FCRA compliance.
• Build compliance processes and documentation, support risk assessments and audits, and respond to partner bank and regulatory requests.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Support on policies, controls, and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in BSA/AML/OFAC compliance, preferably in fintech or another regulated industry.
• Experience with transaction monitoring or alert screening systems and writing SQL queries against large datasets.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to identify trends and translate metrics into operational decisions.
• Ability to build processes and structure in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
• Regular use of AI tools and interest in applying AI to compliance work.
• Must be based in Salt Lake City or New York City and able to work in the office 3–4 days per week.
