Graphic Design Specialist

Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States. The role includes occasional evening or weekend work, 5–10% travel, and physical event duties such as transporting marketing materials and setting up conference booths. Applicants may need to satisfy U.S. Government export control requirements; U.S. citizenship, nationality, asylum, refugee status, or lawful permanent residence may affect eligibility.

Salary: $97,517–$126,646 per year; the range is specific to Washington State.

What you will do

• Develop visual content for print, digital, social media, web, video, presentations, recruiting, events, and stakeholder communications.
• Maintain and evolve visual identity standards, brand guidelines, templates, and digital asset libraries.
• Create event branding, signage, exhibits, trade show materials, environmental graphics, and promotional items.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear visual stories, data visualizations, and technical illustrations.
• Collaborate with communications, marketing, business leaders, subject matter experts, content creators, and external vendors.
• Manage multiple projects, competing priorities, deadlines, and production requirements while maintaining quality.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in-house or in a corporate environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Portfolio demonstrating expertise in print, digital, presentation, and brand design.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Experience with executive-level PowerPoint presentations, visual storytelling, data visualizations, or technical illustrations.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, visual hierarchy, project management, and organization.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting communications, marketing, or public affairs teams.
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, technology, engineering, manufacturing, or another highly technical industry.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, video editing, web design principles, or digital content management systems.
