Senior Proposal Graphic Designer (Federal Proposals)

Location: Reston, Virginia, United States; in-person meetings at the Reston office may be required as needed.

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Translate technical solution content into anchor graphics, architecture diagrams, process flows, organizational charts, transition timelines, and management approach graphics.
• Collaborate with solution architects, proposal managers, business development, capture managers, writers, and technical subject-matter experts.
• Recommend and develop graphics that communicate critical success factors, discriminators, and win themes to evaluators.
• Build and maintain graphics storyboards, reusable graphics libraries, and visual standards across concurrent proposals.
• Produce final graphics that meet solicitation requirements, page limits, formatting rules, resolution standards, and Section 508 accessibility requirements.
• Support orals and video presentation graphics while managing shifting priorities and compressed deadlines.

Requirements

• 8 or more years of graphic design experience, including at least 5 years supporting federal proposals.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Portfolio demonstrating complex technical subject matter presented clearly to non-technical evaluators.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent proposal efforts, collaborate across teams, and work under shifting deadlines.
• Ability to attend in-person meetings at the Reston office as needed and work evenings or weekends when proposal deadlines require it.
