Sr UI/UX Designer (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; office or hybrid environment

Salary: $124,771.42–$171,560.71 per year, plus performance-based annual incentive pay

What you will do

• Lead the creation of graphics, illustrations, layouts, presentations, proposals, and product documentation.
• Develop visual content strategies for marketing, sales, operational, and high-stakes business materials.
• Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to define project goals and deliverables.
• Review design work for quality, consistency, brand compliance, and industry standards.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of designers while managing multiple high-impact projects.
• Represent the design function in strategic meetings and presentations and integrate current design technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in graphic design or a related field; 10 years is required without a degree.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat, plus Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-level design projects and innovation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and to travel as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or eligible to obtain required U.S. government authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with SolidWorks, 3DS Max, The Foundry Modo, ZBrush, Dreamweaver, FileZilla, WordPress, or Google Apps.
• Experience in web and print design, video and audio editing, and 2D or 3D animation.
• Knowledge of 3D printing software such as Autodesk Meshmixer, 3DS ZEdit Pro, Autodesk Netfabb, or Google SketchUp.
• Background in the aerospace and defense industry.
