Loan Processor (Mortgage Lending)

Location: Remote in the United States, Arizona

What you will do

• Review borrower credit, employment, income, assets, and supporting documentation before underwriting.
• Assemble complete loan packages, verify file requirements, complete checklists, and identify potential underwriting issues.
• Prepare loan approval summaries, Forms 1008 and 1003, required disclosures, and accurate application documentation.
• Coordinate with borrowers, Loan Originators, Underwriters, vendors, and third parties to obtain missing documents, title information, surveys, flood certificates, and payoff details.
• Manage the loan pipeline, reports, turnaround times, communication logs, vendor invoices, and e-file records.
• Support closing, secondary marketing, loan servicing, and the training or supervision of new processing personnel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of residential mortgage processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass and knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Office, and Windows.
• Working knowledge of RESPA and general knowledge of mortgage and consumer lending regulations, including Regulation Z and Regulation B.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, communication, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Availability to work remotely in the United States and to work varying hours or overtime when needed.
