Shopify Web Developer (Shopify/Liquid)

Location: Remote from Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Jamaica, or Brazil; availability during U.S. business hours required

hirify.global is hiring for a client that builds premium Shopify storefronts and eCommerce experiences for B2B customers.

What you will do

• Build, customize, and maintain Shopify storefronts using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Configure products, collections, inventory, store settings, access controls, gated collections, gift codes, and purchase restrictions.
• Lead the redesign and rebranding of the primary Shopify website, improving navigation, visual hierarchy, usability, accessibility, and conversion performance.
• Translate Figma designs into responsive, production-ready storefronts across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Integrate and troubleshoot Shopify applications and custom functionality while maintaining clean, scalable front-end code.
• Manage multiple builds from development through launch, communicating progress and blockers asynchronously through Slack and other collaboration tools.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on Shopify development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid and advanced front-end development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience building custom Shopify themes, leading website redesigns or rebranding projects, and managing product catalogs, collections, inventory, and store configurations.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce UX, conversion rate optimization, responsive design, mobile optimization, performance, and accessibility.
• Portfolio demonstrating modern, high-quality Shopify storefronts, plus the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and availability during U.S. business hours.

Nice to have

• Shopify Plus experience, including Checkout Extensibility and Scripts.
• Experience with Locksmith, Bold Custom Pricing, gifting, loyalty, and fulfillment applications.
• Experience building B2B eCommerce, corporate gifting, or branded merchandise stores.
• Strong branding, visual hierarchy, and modern UI/UX design skills.
