What you will do

• Run A/B tests, CRO experiments, and user experience optimizations independently
• Optimize page speed, mobile responsiveness, and checkout flow performance
• Build custom features, sections, and pages using Shopify’s Liquid framework and third-party apps
• Analyze site metrics, heatmaps, and customer behavior to identify improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to implement high-performance solutions
• Maintain clean, documented code and stay updated on Shopify ecosystem changes

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience
• Proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Shopify APIs
• Experience with Shopify theme customization, app integrations, and custom section builds
• Proven track record of driving measurable eCommerce conversion rate improvements
• Strong understanding of website performance optimization and core web vitals
• Ability to independently run A/B tests, analyze results, and iterate

Nice to have

• Experience with Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and heatmapping tools (Clarity, Hotjar, Lucky Orange)
• Familiarity with headless Shopify setups or Shopify Hydrogen
• UI/UX design skills or close collaboration with design teams
• Experience in eCommerce growth marketing environments
