Senior WebEOC Developer

Location: Herndon, Virginia, United States (Hybrid). U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Salary: $100,000–$160,000 per year, depending on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.

What you will do

• Configure and customize WebEOC emergency management applications using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, XML, and XSLT.
• Collaborate with solution architects to deliver secure, scalable, and reusable designs.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, peer code reviews, testing, debugging, and quality control.
• Support client engagements by documenting technical requirements and providing training.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Ensure solutions meet security and accessibility standards, including Section 508.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Professional WebEOC experience and at least five years of web development experience.
• At least two years of client-facing experience.
• Strong test-case writing, troubleshooting, communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Experience with Agile Scrum or Kanban environments.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Experience in secure remote customer environments, emergency management systems, or public-sector IT.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, automated testing tools, CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and source control.
• Certified WebEOC Administrator credential or willingness to obtain it within 12 months.
