Software Engineer Intern (Distributed Systems)

Cloud-native database product company building a distributed SQL database that unifies transactions and analytics for real-time, data-intensive applications.

What you will do

• Spend 12 weeks working with one or more engineering teams.
• Develop features for the database product and deploy projects continuously into production.
• Test software and contribute throughout the product life cycle.
• Own projects end to end while collaborating with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams.
• Work with experienced engineers who provide technical mentorship and professional development support.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a B.S. degree program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrate strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
• Have strong programming skills with JavaScript, Golang, or TypeScript.
• Be passionate about building highly reliable software.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of operating systems, distributed systems, concurrency, multithreading, and server architectures.
