Quality Control Manager (Fragrance)

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Elizabeth, NJ (On-site 5 days a week)

Compensation: $105,000 – $140,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Design and implement an end-to-end QC program for raw materials and finished fragrance products.
• Perform organoleptic and sensory evaluations that automated equipment cannot replicate.
• Lead root cause analysis for non-conforming materials and customer quality concerns.
• Maintain lab documentation, SOPs, and equipment calibration records.
• Monitor quality KPIs and drive continuous process improvements.
• Build and lead a growing QC team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of direct fragrance industry experience required.
• Must be able to work on-site in Elizabeth, NJ, 5 days a week.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Proven experience building or fixing QC processes in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality documentation, audits, and CAPA processes.
• Independent decision-making skills for high-frequency accept/reject calls.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 8 to 12 years of relevant industry experience.
