2027 Summer Intern, BS/MS, Software Engineer (Autonomous Driving)

Location: San Francisco, California; hybrid onsite internship

Salary: $60/hour for Bachelor's students; $70/hour for Master's students

Build autonomous driving technology that enables fully autonomous ride-hailing and safer mobility.

What you will do

• Analyze differences between machine learning and production behavior.
• Perform cluster analysis across dozens of examples to identify behavioral trends.
• Determine whether behavioral clusters demonstrate desirable or undesirable outcomes.
• Port desirable machine learning behavior into production systems.
• Collaborate on software for perception, decision-making, robotics, and deep learning in autonomous driving.

Requirements

• Experience with software engineering.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Strong data fluency.
• Enrollment in or completion of a BS or MS program relevant to the internship.
• Ability to work in a hybrid onsite position in San Francisco, California.

• Experience with robotics or machine learning.
