Game Engine Developer (C++)

What you will do

• Develop and evolve a cross-platform game engine and embedded in-house tools.
• Design, implement, and maintain engine features that support mobile game production.
• Collaborate with game teams and users across disciplines to improve workflows.
• Deliver well-structured code and improve product quality and performance.
• Share engineering practices and support feature and tool adoption across hirify.global.
• Monitor development needs and provide architectural guidance and hands-on support across teams.

Requirements

• Strong C++ knowledge and professional experience.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with testing, automation, and continuous integration.
• Ability to develop for Windows and macOS.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including work with cross-discipline teams.
• High standards for code quality and maintaining software over time.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance-critical software.
• Experience with game editor extension systems such as Unity Editor scripting, Unreal Editor tooling, or custom C++/Qt editor frameworks.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Sentry or Grafana.
• Experience with cloud technologies including GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience facilitating workshops or leading internal technical presentations.
