AI Programmer (Unreal Engine 5): Implementing optimized networked AI systems for an immersive tactical FPS with an accent on AI behavior, navigation, multiplayer programming, and server-side scalability. Focus on designing pathfinding and goal-oriented systems, supporting large numbers of AIs, optimizing C++ performance and memory usage, and mentoring junior programmers.
Location: On-site in Brno, Czech Republic. The role requires being based in Brno and willingness to relocate. Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.

is an international game studio developing AAA PC games, including the tactical FPS Gray Zone Warfare in Unreal Engine 5.
What you will do
- Implement networked AI features in collaboration with programmers and designers.
- Design AI behaviors, navigation, pathfinding, and other gameplay AI systems.
- Develop techniques for supporting large numbers of AI agents on the server.
- Optimize AI systems for performance and memory usage.
- Share expertise and mentor junior programmers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a game programmer on premium PC or console titles.
- At least one shipped premium title as an AI programmer.
- Excellent C++ knowledge and expertise in performance optimization and memory management.
- Experience with game AI concepts including navigation, pathfinding, Goal-Oriented Action Planning, and Hierarchical Task Networks.
- Proven experience implementing and optimizing networked AI.
- EU work eligibility and willingness to be based in Brno are mandatory.
