Operator 12 Entry-Chico (Pipeline Operations)

What you will do

• Operate pipeline equipment, pumps, pump stations, terminals, and related facilities.
• Monitor product quality, tank levels, loading rack operations, batch changes, meters, and operating records.
• Start and stop pumps, identify equipment abnormalities, and communicate operational or product-quality issues.
• Coordinate with scheduling, product accounting, engineering, regional personnel, and field operations.
• Maintain facility housekeeping and perform general upkeep, including painting, sweeping, washing, and related duties.
• Follow safety procedures while working with petroleum products, equipment, tanks, valves, and remote facilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or college education is advantageous.
• Basic office, administrative, typing, telephone, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.
• Ability to pass and maintain all applicable Operator Qualification requirements.
• Current valid state driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.
• Ability to use tank gauging, truck loading, SCADA, and teletype programs.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, physical labor, climbing tanks, and variable weather conditions.

Nice to have

• Pipeline hydraulics or pipeline operations experience.
• Knowledge of cathodic protection, piping, valves, pressures, or storage tank operations.
• Mechanical, electrical, or electronic maintenance experience.
