Licensed Practical Nurse – Limited X-Ray Certification

Location: Onsite health center in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM.

What you will do

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of healthcare providers and within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications, perform wound care, observe treatment reactions, and collect urine, blood, and sputum specimens.
• Perform limited x-rays as ordered and use limited X-ray certification to support onsite radiology needs.
• Handle phlebotomy and laboratory draws and serve as the site's Radiology Representative.
• Maintain medical equipment, infection-control standards, a clean environment, and accurate patient health records.
• Support providers with clinical and administrative LPN-scope responsibilities.

Requirements

• Current practical or vocational nursing license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider.
• At least three years of clinical LPN/LVN experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, or an emergency department.
• Graduation from a National League for Nursing–accredited program, an associate degree, or equivalent education from a two-year college or technical school.
• Current LPN license and limited X-ray certification required.
