Pipeliner - Entry - Concord

Pipeline infrastructure operator.

What you will do

• Perform preventative maintenance, upgrades, minor repairs, and emergency repairs on pipelines and related facilities.
• Complete pipe fitting, hot tapping, cold cutting, coating repairs, valve maintenance, and pipeline marker installation.
• Clear vegetation, inspect rights-of-way and exposed piping, and maintain tank farms, booster stations, terminals, offices, and remote facilities.
• Operate power tools, forklifts, company vehicles, and monitoring equipment while loading, unloading, and transporting materials.
• Work in trenches, confined spaces, rough terrain, and around heavy equipment while following safety and company procedures.
• Respond to emergency callouts and support extended field operations, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and travel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, valid state driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk up to 5–10 miles per day, climb, bend, stoop, work in confined spaces, and perform strenuous manual labor.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, rugged terrain, dusty and noisy conditions, and around petroleum-product odors and wildlife.
• Ability to pass Operator Qualification training and complete applicable licensing, certification, background-check, and agency requirements.
• Basic computer proficiency, communication skills, accountability, organization, problem-solving ability, and readiness to work with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of pipeline construction, mechanical or electrical maintenance, piping, valves, pressures, pipeline operations, or cathodic protection.
• Experience with pipeline maintenance, construction contractors, or mechanically focused work.

• Weekly travel between assignment areas and occasional overnight travel of approximately 1–20 nights per month may be required.
