Customer Service Associate Specialist (Healthcare)

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States, with required travel to and onsite work at client, temporary, or corporate offices as business needs require. Applicants must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $17.00–$18.65 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

• Handle incoming patient calls and answer questions about statements and balances.
• Post guarantor payments and set up payment plans in accordance with company policies.
• Research patient account issues and coordinate their resolution with appropriate departments.
• Connect patients with financial counseling for charity screening.
• Communicate patient balances, meet collection goals, and deliver effective customer service.
• Document phone calls and written communications in company systems while partnering across the revenue cycle.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service or call center experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of physician and hospital operations, compliance, provider relations, critical thinking, and problem resolution.
• Ability to work effectively remotely with a secure home office and reliable internet service of at least 50 Mbps.
• Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States; onsite travel may be required.
