MFT Analytical Technician (Advanced Electronics)

What you will do

• Perform analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using chromatography and spectroscopy techniques.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical instruments, coordinating major repairs with vendors.
• Analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to engineers and scientists.
• Perform root cause analysis for out-of-specification results and support quality issue resolution.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams on material characterization and process improvement.
• Maintain laboratory records and supplies while following safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in an industrial analytical laboratory, preferably in the electronics or chemical industry.
• Experience operating and maintaining at least two of the following: GC, HPLC, ICP-OES, or UV-Vis.
• Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry, data interpretation, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively, use Microsoft Office, and follow strict safety procedures when handling hazardous materials.

Nice to have

• Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
