Specialist, Quality Control (Chemistry)

Location: 100% onsite in Norwood, Massachusetts, United States. Due to export control requirements, only U.S. persons are eligible for this position. hirify.global cannot sponsor non-U.S. persons for an export control license.

Salary: $74,000–$118,400 per year, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, incentive compensation, or equity award.

What you will do

• Perform routine QC analytical chemistry testing using HPLC, GC, UV, particle analysis, dynamic light scattering, and related techniques.
• Review and report release, stability, and in-process data for clinical and commercial products.
• Support method acquisition, qualification, requalification, troubleshooting, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Manage laboratory activities including reagent preparation, sample management, equipment maintenance, LIMS result entry, and electronic assay forms.
• Support stability programs, STAT testing for manufacturing processes, and special projects, including possible shift flexibility.
• Author and maintain laboratory procedures, reports, deviations, change controls, CAPAs, and cGMP documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline, preferably Analytical Chemistry or Chemistry.
• At least 5 years of laboratory experience focused on analytical chemistry.
• Ability to develop a strong understanding of applicable GxP regulations, including GMP, GLP, GCP, or GDP.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Norwood, Massachusetts.
• Must qualify as a U.S. person under U.S. export control laws, such as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee.
