Senior Customer Care Associate (Property Tax)

What you will do

• Manage inbound property tax inquiries escalated from Tier 1 customer care agents.
• Contact borrowers through inbound and outbound calls, email, and chat.
• Research client systems, interpret data, and use multiple tools—up to 10 systems—to identify needs and provide accurate resolutions.
• Document customer interactions and discussions accurately according to established procedures.
• Support new-hire training through chat sessions and side-by-side coaching.
• Meet response-time, production, quality, schedule, and attendance targets while handling escalated issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; a college degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of applicable customer support experience, or equivalent relevant education.
• At least 3 years of contact center experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, active listening, customer service, problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Strong computer skills, including working with multiple screens and systems; Microsoft products experience is preferred.
• Ability to type at least 35 words per minute and work accurately in a high-volume environment while meeting schedule and attendance requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in property tax, banking, mortgage, real estate, credit, or another financial services industry.
• College degree and Microsoft suite/product experience.
