Technical Quality Assurance Manager (QA Automation)

What you will do

• Define, communicate, and maintain the organisational test strategy and quality engineering standards.
• Provide technical leadership to QA Champions and Test Automation Engineers across multiple delivery areas.
• Guide automation framework design, coding standards, reusable components, test data, diagnostics, and maintainability.
• Embed functional, integration, regression, non-functional, and release validation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Review quality evidence, identify systemic risks, and improve release-readiness reporting.
• Reduce flaky, duplicated, and low-value tests, escaped defects, avoidable rework, and manual regression dependency.

Requirements

• Strong experience in software quality assurance, test automation, and quality engineering.
• Experience defining, implementing, and governing testing strategies in complex software delivery environments.
• Practical experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and improving pipeline feedback reliability.
• Experience with Playwright or equivalent automation technology; Selenium experience is beneficial.
• Practical coding capability in C#, Java, or an equivalent object-oriented language.
• Understanding of functional, integration, regression, API, user-interface, non-functional, risk-based, and release testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Experience configuring automated execution, publishing test results, and implementing quality controls in build and deployment pipelines.
